Our guide Vithyea and driver were wonderful - having a private tour at Angkor Wat was such a great decision and we saw the highlights without having to travel in a big group tour. One of my favorite moments from the trip was the floating villages. Crossing the border was definitely interesting - but these reviews prepared our group well :) The hotel was nice too. “It was a great way to meet other people on a similar trail. The views were ok. The getting off of the boat process was frustrating! The staff pulled the bags up out of the hold and just piled them up. Luckily, some clever thinking passengers helped with the off boarding process and organization of the bags. When we got off at Land Prabang, the only form of transport to town was tuktuk. They knew this, and they take advantage of it. They tried to charge us 100,000Kip each but we got it for 50,000 each. They then hurried us off so no one else heard this price. People need…”

“Het is een leuke ervaring! Maar er zijn ook wat verbeterpunten. Achteraf gezien wel waard geweest! Vooral het meer en de overnachting is erg leuk. Ik zou aanraden om veel activiteiten wat in te korten. Vooral de hike op de eerste dag en de avond Safari de tweede dag zijn te lang. Hierdoor heb je ook weinig privé tijd wat juist fijn is bij het meer. Ook de eerste paar stops op dag 1 zijn leuk (ananas plantage en rubberbomem), behalve de laatste; een grot met vissen voeren, het was al 14.00 iedereen had erge honger en die stop had niet gehoeven. Ook mag de communicatie over wat het plan…”
