“I had limited expectations for this excursion. We arrived at the bamboo rafting area and it was all very rushed. I was hoping that the guides would be pointing out wildlife or give us some information about anything, but it felt like our guide in particular was either a bit hungover or just didn't want to be there. Stopped the raft to take phone calls etc it was bizarre. The turtle sanctuary was decent. Learned some things on the tour from the guide. Waterfall was a bit of a waste of time to be honest. “The bamboo raft ride was the highlight of the trip. I was a bit nervous but our raft guide held my hand getting on and getting off the raft and he kept it stable throughout the ride. I loved the coffee stop half way along, the water was boiled inside bamboo sticks over the fire and the coffee was served in bamboo cups which we were able to keep. “amazing. would definitely recoment. it was 2.5 hours drive from our hotel next to maya beach. we went on ATV, it was our first time great experience. we hand fed wild monkeys. the water rafting was the best, the instructors made it so fun. we swam with the small water fall. did a zipline. transport included. food wasn't ok. 100 baht for monkey food. video ATV 200 baht video water rafting and photos 800 baht our photos and vids are great.”
