“This was a great experience. Lucky was funny and nice. Lucky also taught us a lot about the culture while we stopped at many different shops to eat. We went in back alleys to places I normally wouldn’t venture to as a tourist. Not because I don’t want to, but because it probably wouldn’t come up when I google “best places to eat in Phuket” lol. I really enjoyed myself. I ate sooo much food. And everything was delicious.”

“We had an incredible experience on this food tour and cannot recommend it enough. Our guide Ant was outstanding - knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Thai food and culture. She explained everything so clearly, took us to amazing spots we never would have found on our own, and made the whole evening feel effortless and fun. The helpers were wonderful as well, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were always comfortable. The pacing, variety of food, and organization were excellent. ★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 867 reviews · from $59

Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with klong boat and Nang Loeng Market. 15+ Thai tastings, small group of 8, 4 hours, $59.

“Lots of activity with a canal boat ride, tuk tuk even before we got to the first eating spot. This was an utter waste of time and distracted from the actual experience. We could’ve all just assembled at the first spot.. Food selections were generally tasty, but were allat places with frankly questionable hygiene. The food was generally cooked, so could be considered safe. Squeamish people should not attend the tour. Johnny, the tour guide, was moderately knowledgeable, and try to get us to pace ourselves. Ultimately, even though the tour suggested 15, we ended up trying 17 to 18 items.”

Bangkok at night by ferry and shared tuk-tuks, Wat Arun glow, flower market stops, then Chinatown street food and dessert.

“The tour was fine but not great. Although the guide was very nice and friendly, the tour itself felt rushed, impersonal, and the Tuk-tuk rides were quick and unmemorable. The stops were okay. There is no hotel pickup and traffic in Bankok is pretty bad. Make sure you leave plenty of time to get to the meeting place.”
